Transportation Subsidies Available for Qualifying Schools

Planning a field trip to the museum with your students? When you make your tour request online, you can also apply for funds to offset the cost of travel to the CMA. Please review the following conditions:

  • Funds may be available for museum visits made from September through May for pre-K–12 schools.
  • Schools with at least 30% of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch may apply.
  • Subsidies may offset transportation costs for up to $400 per visit for schools within a 100-mile radius of the museum.
  • Funds are limited and are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
