Beachfront Resorts in Grand Cayman

From pristine white beaches along Seven Mile, and rather more windswept ones in East End, there are lots of resorts on the beach.

Caribbean Club on Seven Mile Beach

Grand Cayman is very blessed to have stunning hotels and resorts on the equally stunning Seven Mile Beach, however we also have two hotels in the district of East End (The Wyndham and the Morritts), and a one in Bodden Town (The Turtle Nest In). The beaches in East End and Bodden Town have a slightly more rugged and windswept feel to them, but they are charming and wonderful for people who want to get away from teh hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach.

Seven Mile Beach

Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, known for its stunning shoreline, is approximately 5.5 miles long, contrary to its name. Located on the island's western coast, it features powdery white sand and clear turquoise waters. The beach is public and offers various activities such as snorkeling, swimming, and water sports. Beyond its natural beauty, the area hosts resorts, restaurants, and bars, attracting tourists and locals alike. The beach is a hub for community events and serves as a popular relaxation spot with breathtaking sunsets.

Caribbean Club is a luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Seven Mile Beach. Each home like suite or villa offers 2,700sq feet of living space with full gourmet kitchens, large living rooms, one to three bedroom options, all with bathrooms and large fully furnished balconies overlooking Seven Mile Beach. Guests enjoy impeccable service and warm Caribbean hospitality while having access to world-class amenities.

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is an exclusive oceanfront hotel set over 144 acres stretching sea-to-sea from the Caribbean to the North Sound. From the moment guests arrive, they are encompassed by a sense of wonder, making every experience a treasured memory at this Grand Cayman luxury hotel. By day, it might be captured in the cool blue sea – in a gently floating water hammock or a memorable swim at Stingray City. Unforgettable evenings leave memorable imprints, too, whether from the excitement of a night snorkel experience, the delectable seafood dining experience at Blue by Eric Ripert, or a moonlit stroll on Seven Mile Beach.

The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa property is nestled on arguably the most beautiful stretch of Seven Mile Beach. Their 343 luxurious guest rooms all have island-inspired designs, stunning views and thoughtful amenities. You can bask in the sun on the beach, snorkel in front of the hotel, take out a jetski or a paddleboard, or swim in their sparkling pool and cool off with a cocktail from their Tortuga Beach Bar & Grill, one of three on-site restaurants. You can also indulge in a rejuvenating spa experience or maintain your fitness routine in their 24-hour fitness studio.

The Kimpton Seafire on Seven Mile Beach has an open-air designed lobby and views of the beach, sea and pool. Guests can enjoy various dining options, spa services, and recreational activities within the resort's vicinity. The location also allows easy access to the Island's attractions, making it a convenient choice for travellers exploring Grand Cayman.

Bodden Town

Bodden Town beach in Grand Cayman is a lesser-known coastal area characterised by its tranquility. Located on the island's southern coast, it offers a more secluded and serene environment compared to the more polished Seven Mile Beach. The beach features a mix of sand and rocky areas, with calm waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. It's not as developed as other beaches, providing a more natural setting. Its unspoiled charm, and seagrass-strewn beaches attracts those seeking a quieter coastal experience away from the busier tourist areas.

Turtle Nest Inn & Condos is a set of laid back boutique condos located right on the beach in picturesque Bodden Town in the Cayman Islands. Comprised of three Spanish style buildings, the apartment style accommodations offer fantastic self catering options for vacationing in the Cayman Islands. Choose between apartments (which are ideal for up to two guests), or condos (which can accommodate up to four!) – all are equipped with full kitchens, washer and dryers, wireless high-speed Internet - they will even loan you a rental car at no extra cost!

East End

The beach and coastline of East End has has a rugged beauty to it. Located on Grand Cayman's eastern tip, it is the area that gets the island's prevailing winds, and as a consequence the beaches, which are a mix of sandy and rocky, are invariably seagrass-strewn to some extent. Then after 1pm many are in the shade from the tall casuarina pine trees that hug this part of the coastline, especially when you hit one of the many patches that is undeveloped. You can swim and snorkel here but you will have to wade out a bit past the seagrass beds, and consider wearing flippers or watershoes as the seabed is rocky and can be sharp underfoot.

Discover the East End of Grand Cayman, the secluded side of the island know as the “true Caribbean”. The Morritt’s Resort has fully equipped 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condo’s, a white sandy beach, great snorkeling, two restaurants, three pools, a spa, tennis and pickleball courts, mini golf, children's play area, watersport activities and top rated diving. For those that are not part of the timeshare plan, you can contact Morritt's directly to enquire about booking a staycation.

Nestled in the district of East End in Grand Cayman, the Wyndham Reef Resort has breathtaking seascapes, gently sea grass strewn beaches, and miles to explore with no one else in sight. Each apartment is strategically positioned along the beachfront, ensuring an unparalleled view of the sea. They come with full kitchens and there are multiple pools, a tennis court, a handful of restaurants and a supermarket across the road. The pools have hot tubs for warming up in on chilly days and Mimi's Restaurant (which sits on top of a dock) is just next door and has a veritable aquarium of fish under it which will swim with you if you snorkel under there.
