With crystalline blue waters surrounding all of Grand Cayman’s 22 miles, there are an enviable number of waterfront restaurants serving up incredible views across the Island.

Spending the day browsing George Town’s various duty free shops and markets? Refuel with a bite to eat and a view of George Town’s bustling harbour.

Sunset chasers should head to Seven Mile Beach where there’s no shortage of happy hour spots dishing out delicious food and drink specials, or, if you’re adventuring East, make a stop at one of the sleepy seaside fish shacks dotted along the coast.

Below are some of our favourite restaurants... with a view of course.

Loved for their Italian tapas, Bàcaro is a wonderful waterfront option. Choose to sit indoors or on their outdoor terrace, either spot will provide views onto the canal overlooking the passing sailboats of the Cayman Islands Yacht Club.

Macabuca sits on the rugged ironshore in West Bay and has panoramic views of the ocean. Being so close to shore, make sure to take your snorkelling gear and hop in after your lunch at Macabuca to see some beautifully coloured fish.

Tukka East is perfect for a relaxed afternoon by the sea. Tuck into tacos, Australian favourites and delicious cocktails as you feel the breeze off the water. You'll see frigate birds flying above, and don't forget to look out at the Wreck of the Ten Sail.

Lunch with a view of Seven Mile Beach is hard to be beaten, and at LUCA, you get one of the best expanses out there. As you tuck into your favourite Italian dish, you'll find it hard to tear your eyes away from the blue hues.

During a dinner at Cracked Conch, the sunset backdrop provides a very special setting for a your very special occasion. You'll also hear the sound of waves lapping on the ironshore as you dine.

If the view from Calypso Grill's terrace doesn't take your breath away, the food will. Sitting on the North Sound, you can look out onto the horizon and watch boats come and go.

Agua sits on Camana Bay's waterfront. You can sit on the breezy terrace by the marina, or inside in the A/C, either way, you'll be blown away by their food.

At the Cayman Islands Yacht Club, old-time favourite Morgan's sits on the water's edge serving classic dishes in a beautiful setting.

Kaibo Beach Restaurant

Contemporary Caribbean

Kaibo is a very special place in North Side. Take a water taxi and land on their designated dock before sitting on the sand and enjoying some Caribbean-inspired cuisine.

Beach House

Coastal Cuisine

Beach House at The Westin is a one-of-a-kind spot for the most special of occasions. Reserve a toes-in-the-sand table and sit by the water's edge with your special someone as you feast on coastal cuisine.

Rum Point Club

Casual Beachfront Fare

Newly renovated Rum Point Club offers an island escape to the north side of Cayman. Being the home of the Mudslide, their cocktails are delicious and their pizzas are some of the best!

Grand Old House

European & New World

Grand Old House is a household name in Cayman. As one of the longest running restaurants, it's still going strong on the ironshore in George Town – and for good reason!
